Let us Show You Around

Our property has many gorgeous areas where different activities take place. Allow us to give you the grand tour, and describe what happens around Tug Hill Estate to make your visit a little easier.
Front entrance of a house with a double door decorated with wreaths, flanked by two potted plants, a brick pathway, and a sign on the right side.

Main Hall- When you first arrive, this will be one of the first doors you see. This is the entrance to our main hall. Here we host our regularly scheduled special events and private events. The main hall is NOT open every day, so if you are coming for a tasting, lunch, retail purchases, or relaxation, continue to the Vintner’s Lounge.

Outdoor patio area with wicker chairs and tables, multiple windows on the house, string lights hanging from a dark wooden ceiling, and a sign that reads "Oh Hello".

The Vintner’s Lounge- The hub of the Estate. The Vintner’s Lounge is currently open seven days per week, and houses the retail space, food options, wine & spirits tasting experiences, and our offices. The Vintner’s Lounge offers a full menu, Tug Hill Vineyards wines, Tug Hill Spirits, Tug Hill Orchards Ciders, local products, and a few Estate favorites.

Outdoor patio at night with string lights overhead, wooden tables, and black umbrellas among trees.

The Terrace is our seasonal, and fair weather, outdoor seating and dining area. On Thursday nights, Wine Down is hosted on the terrace, and we offer Sunday Brunch seating on the terrace during ideal weather. Some guests utilize the terrace for their special events; and, if nothing else is happening, then it makes a gorgeous place to enjoy some lunch, or an early dinner while taking in some breathtaking views of the Black River Valley.

A grassy yard with a house in the background. The house has a porch with picnic tables, some trees without leaves, and a cloudy sky overhead.

Processing Building- Here is where we make our products, and store them. We do all of our own fermentation, distillation, aging, and bottling. We do offer tours with our winemaker by appointment. For more information about our products, click here.

A scenic landscape featuring a winding road, lush green trees, a small pond, cultivated fields, and a house, with a distant horizon under a cloudy sky.

Tug Hill Estate is a 40-acre working farm. In addition to our buildings and guest accessible areas, we grow blueberries, raspberries, apples, and cold-hardy, hybrid grapes that are used for our products, in our menu items, and are seasonally available for picking by the public.
